Rotary E-Club of One Vision Celebrates World Polio.

We’re So Close to a Polio-Free World! This October 24th, the Rotary E-Club of One Vision proudly joins Rotary clubs around the globe in observing World Polio Day. This isn’t just a date on the calendar; it’s a powerful reminder of the incredible progress made and the critical work that still lies ahead in our mission to eradicate Polio forever.World Polio Day commemorates the birth of Jonas Salk, who led the first team to develop a vaccine against Polio. Thanks to decades of relentless effort from Rotary International, its partners, and countless health workers, we stand on the cusp of eliminating this terrible disease. We have reduced Polio cases by 99.9% since 1988, preventing paralysis in over 18 million people. At the Rotary E-Club of One Vision, we’re inspired by this monumental achievement, but we also recognize the urgency of finishing the job. The final steps are often the hardest. On this World Polio Day, we renew our commitment to supporting vaccination efforts, strengtheningdisease surveillance, and ensuring every child receives the protection they deserve. How can you help us make history?Educate: Share information about Polio and the importance of vaccination.Advocate: Speak up for Polio eradication in your community.Donate: Even a small contribution can provide life-saving vaccines.Join the Rotary E-Club of One Vision this World Polio Day as we unite our efforts to ‘End Polio Now.’ Let’s make history and create a healthier future for all children, everywhere.#WorldPolioDay #EndPolioNow #RotaryEClubOneVision #24October
