Educating for Peace: A Joint Fellowship Meeting of Rotary E-Clubs

On February 7th, the Rotary E-Club of One Vision had joint fellowship Zoom meeting with fellow E-Clubs from District 9126, focusing on an inspiring and crucial theme: “Educating for Peace.” This memorable event featured esteemed guest speaker Past Assistant Governor Ibimina Daminabo Amachere, the Rivers State Coordinator for the Rotary Action Group for Peace – Nigeria Chapter.

In his insightful presentation, PAG Amachere explored the pivotal role of the Rotary Peace Fellowship in fostering peace and understanding around the globe. He shared impactful stories and initiatives that highlight how education serves as a fundamental tool in cultivating peace within communities, especially in regions affected by conflict and instability.

Participants from various E-Clubs engaged actively, sharing their own experiences and perspectives on peace education. The discussions not only emphasized the moral responsibility of Rotarians to advocate for peace but also inspired collaborative efforts among clubs to implement peace-building projects.
